Policies

Everything is hand-crocheted in small batches, so a few things work differently than at a big retailer. Below is the short version of what to expect on shipping, returns, refunds, and disputes. If something here doesn't cover your situation, just email jamieestitches@gmail.com — Jamie reads every message herself.

Shipping

Orders are packed and dropped at USPS within 3–5 business days of payment. Standard U.S. shipping is a $7 flat rate; orders over $200 ship free. We currently ship within the U.S. only — for international requests, email Jamie before ordering and we'll work out a custom quote.

Once your package leaves the studio, USPS owns it. We can't guarantee delivery dates, replace lost or stolen packages marked "delivered" by USPS, or refund delays caused by the carrier. If your tracking goes quiet for more than 10 business days, email us and we'll help you open a USPS investigation.

Returns

Because every piece is hand-made one at a time, we run a tight returns window:

  • Ready-to-wear pieces from /shop can be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition (tags attached if shipped with tags).
  • Custom orders (anything commissioned via /custom) are final sale. Each one is built specifically to your size and request, so it can't be resold.
  • Sale or markdown items are final sale unless they arrived damaged.

To start a return, email jamieestitches@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the piece. We'll reply within 2 business days with a return shipping label. Return shipping is paid by the buyer unless the piece arrived damaged or we shipped the wrong item.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of the returned piece arriving back at the studio in acceptable condition. Depending on your card issuer or bank, it can take an additional 3–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

What's refunded: the price of the returned item. What's not: original shipping and return shipping (unless the return is our fault).

If your piece arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll refund the full purchase price including original shipping, and cover the return label.

Disputes & chargebacks

We want to make every order right. If something went wrong — a piece didn't match the listing, arrived late, or there's a billing question — please email jamieestitches@gmail.com before filing a dispute with your bank. We reply within 2 business days and almost always resolve the issue faster than your card issuer would.

If you do file a chargeback, we'll respond through Stripe with the full order record (item details, ship date, tracking, delivery confirmation, and our prior communication with you). Filing a chargeback for an order you received and kept may be considered friendly fraud by Stripe and your card issuer.

Privacy

The only personal data we collect through this site is what you submit yourself: your email if you sign up for drop alerts, and your name + shipping address when you check out. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.

We don't sell your data, share it with marketers, or use it to retarget you with ads. Drop alerts come straight from Jamie's Stripe customer list and you can unsubscribe any time by replying to a drop email or asking us to remove you.
